Experience primary care that treats you as a whole person, not a list of symptoms — combining attentive listening and root-cause investigation through a naturopathic and functional medicine lens.

Jacqueline Reilly-Dixon, ND

I practice primary care through a naturopathic and functional medicine lens, which shapes how I listen, diagnose, and build treatment plans — looking for root causes and treating the whole person rather than isolated symptoms. My training includes a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University, residency training at Sojourns Community Health Clinics, and ongoing training in pelvic floor therapy, which lets me offer a level of hands-on, specialized care that's uncommon in a primary care setting.

Focus Areas

01

From well-child visits to healthy aging, I provide primary care across the lifespan. This includes preventive screenings, acute care, and chronic condition management, all rooted in a whole-person approach.

02

Reproductive health, hormone balance, and whole-body care for women across every life stage — including how hormones intersect with metabolic health (blood sugar, cholesterol, weight, and energy levels).

I have a passion for pelvic floor dysfunction and chronic pain rooted in the nervous system, sometimes called "nociceptive" pain, and have sought out additional training in this area beyond what most PCPs receive.

Your Questions, Answered

Where do you see patients?

I see patients in Vermont and New Hampshire, both in person and via telehealth, through Sojourns Community Health Clinic. Visit Sojourns to learn more about that practice and to schedule an appointment. Depending on case load, I’m currently exploring telehealth availability for patients in Massachusetts. What does "naturopathic primary care" mean?

Naturopathic primary care means I provide the core services you'd expect from any primary care provider — physical exams, diagnosis, lab and imaging orders, and ongoing management of both acute and chronic conditions — through training that also includes nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and natural therapeutics. I draw on conventional and natural approaches together rather than choosing one over the other, and I refer out for anything beyond my scope or expertise.

Can I reach my provider between appointments?

In Vermont and New Hampshire, where I'm (soon-to-be) licensed, my scope as a Naturopathic Doctor is broad enough to serve as your primary care provider. I can order labs and diagnostic imaging, perform standard physical exams, and prescribe medication as part of your care. This is where I practice full-scope primary care.

In Massachusetts, naturopathic medicine isn't currently regulated the same way, so any care I provide there would be more limited and consultative rather than primary care in the full sense.
